The Wa-Hi Girls Swim & Dive Team won all three dual meets against the three Pasco schools on Tuesday evening, September 22, 2026, bringing the team’s MCC dual meet record to 6-0. Hermiston was also competing against the three Pasco schools. The Blue Devils dominated the meet despite missing two athletes, winning 10 of the 12 events. Wa-Hi defeated Chiawana 123-47, Pasco 140-4, and Sageview 122-58. In dual meets, the top three relay finishers score points. In the 200 Medley Relay, the “A” squad of Cora Asmus, Violette Schindler, Madelyn Smith, and Cienna Lyon finished first overall with a time of 2:02.94. The “B” squad of Gianna Goff, Lucy Anderton, Millie Zanes, and Ella Dalan finished third overall in 2:21.50. In the 200 Freestyle Relay, the “A” squad of Madelyn Smith, Olivia Thayne, Lucy Anderton, and Claire Chen finished first overall with a time of 1:53.84. The “B” squad of Gianna Goff, Reagan Hendley, Millie Zanes, and Brooke-Lynn Bishop finished third overall in 2:10.79. In the 400 Freestyle Relay, the “A” squad of Violette Schindler, Cora Asmus, Cienna Lyon, and Claire Chen finished first overall with a time of 4:10.38. The “B” squad of Olivia Thayne, Brooke-Lynn Bishop, Reagan Hendley, and Kaylee Debolt finished fourth overall in 4:57.23. The top five finishers in individual events scored points. Sophomore Violette Schindler was first overall in both the 500 Freestyle (5:20.87) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:12.77). Junior Madelyn Smith was first overall in both the 50 Freestyle (26.74) and the 100 Backstroke (1:07.57). Freshman Claire Chen was first overall in both the 200 Freestyle (2:13.06) and the 100 Freestyle (1:01.64). Junior Olivia Thayne was first overall in the 200 IM (2:38.43) and fourth overall in the 100 Butterfly (1:17.11). Sophomore Lucy Anderton finished second overall in both the 100 Freestyle (1:06.18) and the 100 Backstroke (1:23.89). Freshman Cora Asmus finished second overall in both the 50 Freestyle (28.26) and the 500 Freestyle (6:04.29). Freshman Millie Zanes finished third overall in both the 100 Butterfly (1:12.88) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:29.38). Junior Brooke-Lynn Bishop finished third overall in the 200 IM (2:59.37) and fifth overall in the 500 Freestyle (7:13.69). Junior Cienna Lyon finished third overall in the 100 Backstroke (1:19.69) and fifth overall in the 100 Butterfly (1:19.68). Senior Gianna Goff finished fourth overall in both the 200 Freestyle (2:44.71) and the 100 Backstroke (1:22.70). Senior Reagan Hendley finished sixth overall in the 100 Freestyle (1:14.76) and seventh overall in the 200 IM (3:09.62). Sophomore Kaylee Debolt finished sixth overall in the 200 Freestyle (2:52.32). Freshman Ella Dalan finished eighth overall in the 50 Freestyle (37.18). The Blue Devils’ next competition is the Walla Walla Invitational on Saturday, September 26, at Whitman, where they will compete against most of the MCC schools.
